Sierra & Zach's Dreamy Destination Wedding at Superstition Mountain, Arizona
Together in The Desert
Nestled in the majestic Superstition Mountains of Arizona, Sierra and Zach, high school sweethearts from Florida, embarked on the adventure of a lifetime - their destination wedding. Their journey, marked by a love for exploration and the beauty of nature, led them to create a day that was uniquely theirs, full of personal touches and breathtaking desert landscapes. With the expert assistance of Cloth & Flame and their extraordinary coordinator [Coordinator's Name], Sierra and Zach's wedding day was nothing short of a bohemian dream.
The Day Begins:
As the sun rose over Scottsdale, Arizona, the day began at two luxurious mansions, rented through Vacation in Phoenix by their families for this special occasion. The mansions, surrounded by the iconic Saguaro Cacti and rolling mountains, set the stage for a day filled with elegance and natural charm. When I arrived, Sierra was in the midst of her transformation, thanks to her glam squad, Superstition Makeup Co. (Makeup) & Creativity By Celene (Hair). The details of the day, from terracotta, greens, and beige, seamlessly blended with the desert setting, creating a serene boho ambiance.
Sierra's bridal accessories were a nod to her love for the ocean and nature. The shark teeth hair pins by Seventy Seven and Blue and the custom band by Honey Blue Jewelry perfectly reflected that. Her ‘Clo’ Grace Loves Lace dress, with its delicate floral lace print, and the exquisite hairpiece from Daisy Head Floral Co., were the epitome of a boho desert bride.
Meanwhile, Zach's green suit, with a stitched monogram of his last name, complemented the natural surroundings and reflected his individual style.
The Heartfelt Ceremony:
The ceremony was a deeply emotional affair, capturing the essence of Sierra and Zach's journey since 2013. Zach's reading of their old letters exchanged in high school was a touching reminder of their enduring love. The ceremony concluded with an eco-friendly petal toss, symbolizing the joyous start of their new life as Mr. & Mrs. Halliday.
Their Favorite People:
The bridal party, dressed in shades of green, terracotta, and beige from [Bridesmaids' Dress Brand], mirrored the desert's hues. The groomsmen, in beige suits, alongside Zach's green suit, created a harmonious blend with the natural backdrop.
Love in the Desert.
Their newlywed portraits were a celebration of love and landscape, with Arizona Superstition Mountains providing an idyllic setting. The couple's joy and love were palpable as they basked in the glow of the setting sun.

The Details.
The reception, a masterpiece of coordination by [Coordinator's Name], Cloth & Flame, and Moboho Events, was a spectacle of desert elegance. Daisy Head Floral Co.'s desert-toned roses and dried florals adorned the space. The unique Aftertone Phone for guests to leave voicemails and Fuji Film disposable cameras on the cocktail tables added a personal and fun touch. It provided a great way for the guest to document the day from their perspective.
A Night to Cherish.
The family-style table under market lights created an unforgettable ambiance for an evening of celebration, complete with gourmet burgers from a local food truck and heartwarming speeches.
The highlight of the evening was Zach's surprise slideshow, a walk down memory lane that encapsulated their journey together. The night was a beautiful blend of laughter, dancing, and memories, truly a highlight of my career.
Sierra and Zach's destination wedding at Superstition Mountain was not just a day, but a testament to love, adventure, and the beauty of Arizona. As a photographer, capturing their story was an honor and a reminder of why I love what I do.
